During the end of the series, Theodore quits Baby Corp. During the course of the show Theodore learns about being able to empathize with people, continually failing to permanently follow the lessons as he always reverts to his old self. while still trying to be the family man, or in this case the family baby. In The Boss Baby: Back in Business, Theodore returns to working for Baby Corp. At the end of the film Theodore gives up his sentience to continue being a part of the Templeton family. Timothy and Theodore need to learn to work together as they try to stop the greater evil Puppy Co., who threaten to kill their parents. Theodore is later revealed to be very developed person who is able to talk and reason, and educates Tim about his true motives. The series starts with The Boss Baby, which follows the characters Timothy Leslie Templeton and his younger infant stepbrother Theodore Lindsay Templeton, Theodore is given all of their parents' attention leaving Tim feeling neglected and vengeful towards Theodore.
